These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the BiggerBlueButton video conference platform (“Service”) provided by Biggerbluebutton L.L.C, registered in United Arab Emirates (License No. “1086539”), as well as the Bluetune mobile application offered by Biggerbluebutton. By using any of our Services (including Bluetune), you agree to comply with these Terms. Please read them carefully.


1. Intellectual Property

  • 1.1 Ownership
    All content, materials, and intellectual property rights on the Biggerbluebutton.com website and Services (including Bluetune) are owned by Biggerbluebutton or its licensors. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content without prior written permission from Biggerbluebutton.

2. Acceptance of Terms

  • 2.1 By registering and using the BiggerBlueButton hosting platform or the Bluetune mobile application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service or the Bluetune mobile application.

3. Responsibility for User and End Users

  • 3.1 Lawful Use
    You are solely responsible for your use of the Service and for complying with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • 3.2 Prohibited Use
    You agree not to use Biggerbluebutton video conference, Bluetune, or any other service offered by Biggerbluebutton for any illegal, unauthorized, or unethical purposes. This includes but is not limited to infringing upon intellectual property rights, transmitting harmful or offensive content, or engaging in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the proper functioning of the Service or Bluetune.
  • 3.3 Content Responsibility
    You are responsible for any content you upload, share, or transmit using the Service or the Bluetune mobile application. You affirm that you have the necessary rights or permissions to use and share such content.
  • 3.4 Use of the Services; End User Responsibility
    You will, and you will cause your End Users to, abide by and ensure compliance with all the terms and conditions of this Agreement. You are responsible for your End Users’ access to and use of the Services (including Bluetune). You acknowledge that you remain liable for the acts and omissions of any third party that you allow or provide access to the Services.
  • 3.5 Violations by End Users or Third Parties
    BiggerBlueButton assumes no responsibility or liability for violations of this Agreement by End Users or any other third party that you enable to access the Services or Bluetune. If you become aware of any violation, you must contact BiggerBlueButton Support at support@biggerbluebutton.com.
  • 3.6 Liability for Content and Data
    Under no circumstances will BiggerBlueButton be liable for any data or other content viewed or transmitted while using the Services or Bluetune, including errors or omissions, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of, or denial of access to any data or content.
  • 3.7 Investigation of Use
    BiggerBlueButton may investigate any complaints or violations and take any action deemed appropriate, including issuing warnings, suspending or disconnecting the Services, removing content, terminating accounts, or taking other reasonable actions at its sole discretion.

4. System Requirements

  • 4.1 Hardware/Software Requirements
    Your use or access to BiggerBlueButton or Bluetune requires one or more compatible devices, Internet access, and certain third-party software (e.g., browsers, mobile operating systems). You may be required to obtain updates or upgrades from time to time. High-speed Internet access is recommended. You are solely responsible for any fees related to hardware, software, or internet access.

5. Use of Services

  • 5.1 Eligibility
    You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement to use our Services (including Bluetune).
  • 5.2 Account Registration
    In order to access certain features or services, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account.
  • 5.3 Prohibited Activities
    You agree not to engage in any activities that are unlawful, violate the rights of others, or interfere with the proper functioning of the BiggerBlueButton platform, the Bluetune mobile application, or related services.

6. Service Description

  • 6.1 BiggerBlueButton
    BiggerBlueButton is a video conferencing system designed to provide stable and reliable virtual meetings for webinars and distance education.
  • 6.2 Features
    BiggerBlueButton provides access to virtual rooms with a set of tools to enhance collaboration during meetings, as well as hosting and access to BigBlueButton video conferencing servers for integration with third-party platforms.
  • 6.3 Updates and Modifications
    The features and functionality of the Service may be subject to change or modification at the discretion of BiggerBlueButton. We will endeavor to notify you in advance of any significant changes that may affect your use of the Service.

7. Free Trial

  • 7.1 Free Trial Eligibility
    • The free trial offer is available to new customers with no previous subscription only.
    • The free trial offer is limited to one per customer or per household.
    • We reserve the right to determine eligibility and may refuse the free trial service to any individual or entity.
  • 7.2 Free Trial Duration
    • The free trial period begins on the date you sign up for the Service and ends on the specified expiration date or after the trial duration indicated on our website or promotional material.
    • During the free trial period, you will have full access to all features offered by the paid subscription to provide a proof of concept.
  • 7.3 Cancellation and Billing
    • You may cancel your free trial at any time before the expiration date to avoid being charged.
    • If you do not cancel before the expiration date, your subscription will automatically convert into a paid subscription, and you will be billed according to our standard pricing and billing terms.
    • You can cancel your free trial directly from the “my subscriptions” page or by contacting customer support.
  • 7.4 User Responsibilities
    • You agree not to abuse, misuse, or access the free trial service for unlawful or unauthorized purposes.
    • Any content you generate or upload during the free trial is subject to our standard terms of service and content guidelines.
  • 7.5 Disclaimer of Warranty
    • The free trial service is provided “as is” without any warranty or guarantee of any kind.
    • We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
  • 7.6 Limitation of Liability
    • We shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from or in connection with your use of or inability to use the free trial service.
    • In no event shall our total liability to you for all damages, losses, or causes of action exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for the free trial service.
  • 7.7 Modifications and Termination
    • We reserve the right to modify or terminate the free trial offer at any time without prior notice.
    • We may change these terms and conditions at our sole discretion. Any changes will be effective upon posting the revised terms on our website.

8. Payments and Refunds

  • 8.1 Subscription Fees
    The Service is available on a subscription basis (monthly or annually). Fees for the chosen subscription plan will be charged in advance.
  • 8.2 Monthly Plan Refund
    If you choose a monthly subscription plan, you have the option to request a refund within 7 days of your initial purchase. After the 7-day period, refunds will not be provided.
  • 8.3 Annual Plan Refund
    If you choose an annual subscription plan, you can request a refund at any time during the year, calculated using the formula:
    Refund = Annual plan price – (Total number of months used × Monthly plan price)
  • 8.4 Non-Refundability
    All fees and charges are non-refundable after the applicable refund period has elapsed.
  • 8.5 Non-Payment
    If you fail to pay outstanding invoices by the due date, you will receive warning emails. If payment is not received promptly, your account may be suspended or locked, preventing access to your BiggerBlueButton resources (including meeting data and recordings) until all outstanding invoices are paid.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • 9.1 Liability Exclusion
    BiggerBlueButton (including its officers, employees, and agents) shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service or the Bluetune mobile application, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits or data.

10. Termination

  • 10.1 User-Initiated Termination
    You may terminate your account and subscription at any time by following the provided instructions. Upon termination, your access to the Service will be revoked, and any remaining subscription fees will not be refunded (subject to the refund policies in Section 8).
  • 10.2 Provider-Initiated Termination
    BiggerBlueButton reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in any activity that may harm the Service, Bluetune, or other users.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates/Dubai. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in United Arab Emirates/Dubai.


12. Modifications

Biggerbluebutton LLC reserves the right to modify or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated version on our website. Your continued use of the website, Services, or Bluetune constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms and Conditions.


13. Maintenance and Support

  • 13.1 Support Services
    • We provide support services to assist you with technical issues or questions. Support is available via email at support@biggerbluebutton.com or phone/WhatsApp at +971501193551 during standard support hours (8:00 am to 6:00 pm GST).
    • Our support includes assistance with technical issues, bug reporting, and platform usage guidance.
  • 13.2 Response Time
    • We aim to respond to support requests within 1 hour during business hours, and within 5 hours outside business hours. Response times may vary depending on the complexity of the issue.
    • We do not guarantee resolution within this timeframe but will use reasonable efforts to resolve issues promptly.
  • 13.3 Maintenance and Updates
    • We may perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance and security. Scheduled maintenance typically occurs outside peak usage hours, and we will provide prior notice whenever possible.
    • From time to time, we may release updates, patches, or enhancements to the platform. These may occur automatically, and you may be required to accept them to continue using the platform or Bluetune.
  • 13.4 Service Availability
    • While we strive to maintain continuous platform availability, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. The platform may be unavailable due to planned maintenance or unforeseen technical issues.
    • We will make reasonable efforts to minimize downtime and inform you of significant outages or disruptions.
  • 13.5 Limitations
    • Our support services do not include assistance with third-party software, hardware, or other products not provided by us. We are not responsible for issues arising from third-party integrations or custom modifications.
    • We reserve the right to limit or suspend support services if a user is found to be abusing the support system or violating these Terms.
  • 13.6 Support Termination
    We may terminate support services if you breach any of these Terms or if your subscription to the platform or Bluetune is canceled or expires.

14. Additional Terms for the Bluetune Mobile Application

  • 14.1 Permissions and Data Usage
    1. Camera and Microphone
     • The App requires access to your device’s camera and microphone to facilitate real-time video/audio calls and to allow users to capture media to share in chats.
     • You can revoke this permission at any time in your device’s settings; however, disabling these permissions may limit or disable certain functionalities.

    2. Contacts List
     • To help you connect with others, Bluetune may request access to your device’s contacts list. This permission enables us to show you which of your contacts are already on Bluetune or to invite them to join.
     • You can revoke contact list access at any time in your device’s settings, but this may limit the ability to discover or invite contacts through the App.

    3. Push Notifications
     • Bluetune uses push notifications to inform you of incoming messages, calls, and other updates. By installing and using Bluetune, you consent to receive these notifications.
     • You may opt out of or modify notification preferences at any time via your device’s settings.

    4. Storage and Media
     • The App may request access to your device’s storage to allow sending and receiving media (photos, videos, audio).
     • You can revoke storage permissions at any time, though it may limit your ability to send or receive media files.

    5. Data Collection and Use
     • Bluetune may collect certain data (e.g., device information, usage statistics) for the purpose of providing and improving the service, troubleshooting, and analytics.
     • All data collection is governed by our Privacy Policy (https://biggerbluebutton.com/privacy-policy).
  • 14.2 End-to-End Encryption
    Bluetune provides end-to-end encryption for chat messages to enhance user privacy and security. However, while end-to-end encryption helps protect the confidentiality of your messages, you are responsible for the content you choose to share.
  • 14.3 User Conduct on Bluetune
    Lawful Purposes: You agree to use Bluetune in a manner consistent with all local, national, and international laws and regulations.
    No Harassment or Misuse: You must not harass, threaten, or impersonate others, nor use the service to distribute content that is harmful, offensive, or illegal.
    Reporting Abuse: If you encounter any misuse of Bluetune or violations of these Terms, please report it to support@biggerbluebutton.com.
  • 14.4 Updates and Modifications to Bluetune
    We may release updates or enhancements to Bluetune to improve performance, security, and user experience. You may be required to install these updates in order to continue using Bluetune. If you do not install the latest updates, certain features may not function properly.
  • 14.5 Third-Party App Stores
    Bluetune may be offered through third-party application platforms (e.g., Google Play, Apple App Store). If you download or update Bluetune through these platforms, you must also comply with their respective terms of service, usage rules, and payment policies.
  • 14.6 Disclaimer for Bluetune Calls
    Call Quality and Reliability: The quality of audio/video calls may vary depending on network conditions, device compatibility, and other factors. Biggerbluebutton is not responsible for dropped calls or other technical issues beyond our control.
    Emergency Services: Bluetune is not a replacement for traditional phone services and does not support emergency calls (e.g., 911, 999, 112). You must use a standard telephone or mobile carrier for emergency services.
  • 14.7 Termination or Suspension of Bluetune Access
    We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to Bluetune at our discretion if we suspect any violation of these Terms, illegal activity, or if required by law or regulation.

If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our Services and uninstall the Bluetune application.
